After making their home collection debut, Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby created the Tobi-Ishi Outdoor, an outdoor version of the iconic round dining table and small side table, clearly inspired by Zen. The design duo are great enthusiasts of Japanese art and culture, and the name and inspiration comes from the smooth stones (tobi-ishi) used as decorations in traditional zen gardens. The ledge of the table and vertical trapezoidal bases at right angles create a substantial sculptural figure that seems to change shape depending on the vantage point.

It is recommended to use OpenSubdiv.
