Filuvespri siciliano

Imagine finding yourself in Sicily... in the middle of the Ragusan countryside, rich in pastures, dry fields, dry stone walls, olive trees that alternate their songs with silence. Imagine that you have just woken up after the afternoon nap imposed by your grandparents.
Everything is still, everything is silent, slowly open your eyes, a strange smell pervades your senses, takes you to the kitchen... Sicily is waiting for you.

After some post production, this is the final result.
This is "Filuvespri siciliano"

We Sicilians say "U filuvespri è la parti dû jornu chi currispunni all'uri cchiù càudi dâ jurnata, doppu manciari. La parola ìnnica puru la durmuta ca li genti si fannu spiciarmenti ntâ stati."

That means: "Filuvespri is the part of the day that corresponds to the hottest hour of the day, after lunch. The term also refers to the nap that people take, especially in the summer."

I'm a Sicilian 3d artist, currently based in Rome to study architecture.
However far you go, Sicily will always remain a part of you, for this reason, perhaps driven by nostalgia, I wanted to create an image that encompasses the typical features of my land.
