When I think of the word home, the first memory that comes to mind is not exactly that of a place, but rather the feeling of comfort and well-being that I felt when I returned from school and my mother was waiting for me in our old house with the most varied types of sweets and breads, made by her with all the love in the world.

So every time I smell some cake being baked at home it's like it can transport me back to my childhood and all that feeling of welcome and belonging resurfaces.
